the bear hunt

Tokyo, Japan

the idea of going to such a place seemed so distant when i began my first year of uni.
my imagination only led me to believe i may go to places such as hk with family or what not for holiday every few years.
it had never prepared me for an actual 2 weeks of pure fun spent with friends in a city where there are vending machines around every corner. (even in the middle of nowhere)
a city where school girls lined the streets like models for a fashion pageant (not really)
a city where THE length of a girls skirt is inversely related with the length of the next peak hour train.
a city where trains come on time.
a city where everything is so much better than melbourne
a city where you can hear kat-tun's "one drop" wherever you go
a city which doesn't sleep.
a city where the male hosts are actually worth looking at.
a city which contains countless attractive people no matter where you go, or where you are, (it does depend on when school starts and finishes)
a city which has a billion things which i can compliment, but the fact is, i went to this city.
i stepped foot inside the walls of Tokyo, outside the walls of the imperial palace, on the cobble stoned streets of harajuku, inside the densely populated shibuya crossing, at the reputed gate of nihonbashi LOl, twas some good shit.
it was in this land that i discovered the beauty of the 100 yen store, where all things can be bought at one low price, where 2L waters cost the same as 300 mL waters, where MIcrowaves were supplied to heat up discounted bread, and hot water was provided to turn cup noodles into magnificent pieces of edible art.

Photos were taken, memories shared; we truly had an unforgettable experience.
Undoubtedly goods were purchased, money was well spent (in most cases), and we all had huge smiles on our faces as we carried our bags of Uniqlo back to our beloved hostel in Asakusa.

It is at times like these where my diary comes in handy, a full(almost) description of my absolute experience in japan plus expenditure, oh and photos can be handy too; to show the behind-the-scenes action in our rooms.
oh the reminiscing is a happy process, yet i feel slightly sorrowful that the events which occurred between 19th february and till 6th march have passed so swiftly, and around the corner instead of a vending machine, is the monotonous process of university. sigh.

but dam the $6665.45 was so worth it. lol

dunno where i'll post pictures. whatevers i'll just burn a copy or somethings. i chucked it all onto my ipod though. lol but not the videos lol.i lol at the k ones, took one of every ending lol. i'll chcuk them on youtube or some shit.

AND THATS ALL THE VIDEOS!!!

yeh im pretty sure a video speaks a billion times more words than pictures do. haha good fun.
